The EuroCham’s Business Councils are designed as one of a key objectives of the EU Business Information Programme, namely:
On the 15th of May 2012, the European Brands Protection Council (EBPC) was established in Hong Kong. EBPC is a council under the European Union Business Information Programme with focus on IPR and wider trade related issues in Hong Kong and Macau.
The financial services industry includes firms that deal with the management, investment, transfer, and lending of money.
As it pertains to technology, IT spans a wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as Processes, Computer Software, Computer Hardware, Programming Languages, and Data Constructs.
The Environment and Energy Business Council is the initiative by the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. It was set up in early 2013, with the objective to represent European businesses in Hong Kong and Macao in addressing concerns regarding environmental protection and sustainability issues in Hong Kong.
The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong Automotive Council (EAC) represents the European passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturers in Hong Kong. It aims to bring forward proposals and be a speaking partner to the Government of the Hong Kong SAR on Automotive industry matters including, but not limited to, opportunities to enhance road safety, reduction in environmental impact, enhancement of the economic benefits and improvements in industry administrative processes.
